I’m an American living in Berlin, the best city in the world. I decided to start blogging because it makes me seem a lot wittier and more spontaneous than I am in real life (where I am pretty much awkward, nervous and never quite know what to say.) I intended for this to be a running blog, but then I got pregnant and had a baby, the fantastically adorable Capt. Cute aka Herr Mini-G. So now this blog is more of a “haven’t been running/want to run again/REALLY DESPERATELY WANT TO RUN AGAIN/oh look here’s a random article” kind of blog.
When I am not babywrangling, I enjoy running along the Ufer/dodging naked joggers in the Grunewald/dreaming up complicated training plans. I also play music, wander through Berlin, hang out with Herr G., cook, pine for red wine, and read short stories (who knows, I may even start writing them again….). My talent at impersonating a personality-free drone has been put on the back burner for the duration of my maternity leave, but I hope to exercise it again starting in 2013.

HI just found your blog via a blogroll of one of my blogroll authors. I enjoyed reading about you and two of your posts and to be honest I would happily of read more but do you find that if your not careful you can too much time reading blogs and not get any work done???
